DESPATCH – Days away before OPPO unveils their new Find X smartphone in Paris, France, the company is already hinting us to something that we are again, looking forward to within 2018 – a notch-less, all-screen smartphone.
Although the rumor mills are confusing us lately since some of them are pointing out to a variant with a notch and OPPO’s teaser, meanwhile, do point out that the device would omit it, we just hope that the company won’t disappoint us unlike what Lenovo did – we’re just excited to see this because OPPO has posted earlier that the Find X will be sporting a whopping 93.8% screen-to-body ratio, which is currently the highest to date, with the recently unveiled Vivo NEX following at 91 percent, maybe due to its slightly larger bottom bezel.
While it’s been years after the last Find-series smartphone, OPPO is seemingly gearing towards the revival of its high-end Find line with the Find X, and will probably be followed by others in the succeeding years.
A short clip that was shown by China’s CCTV network suggests it will sport a curved-edge glass panel, held in place by a metal frame. It hints us what does the back of the phone looks like.
So where’s the cameras?
Aside from showing the back of the phone, the CCTV network video might have hinted that the Find X will be a slider phone, in which the dual selfie cameras and sensors are hiding in a slider, unlike Vivo’s pop-up selfie camera on the NEX, to achieve the feat of the high screen-to-body ratio.
Specifications and Features
There’s no word yet about the official specs, but TENAA certification specs which were retrieved from Slashleaks shows that it will contain the 2018 flagship smartphone starter pack as well, such as Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 8GB of RAM,, 128GB internal storage and Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.
Anyways, we’re just only days away from OPPO’s launch of the Find X in Paris. We’ll know more about the phone once it finally comes out so stay tuned!
